Samsung Electronics announced the fifth generation of its flagship phone. The Samsung Galaxy S5 comes with an advanced camera, the fastest network connectivity, dedicated fitness tools and enhanced device protection.
Samsung Galaxy S5 has 5.1-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, 2.5 GHz Quad core processor, 16 MP rear camera with Ultra HD video recording and 2.1 MP front camera.
Samsung improved the UI of its camera application, the 16MP camera offers fast autofocus speed up to 0.3 seconds, advanced HDR, Ultra HD video recording @ 30 fps, reproduced natural light. Also new selective Focus feature allows users to focus on a specific area of an object while simultaneously blurring out the background.
The Galaxy S5 has some fitness features like personal fitness tracker, pedometer, diet, exercise records and built-in heart rate monitor.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 will be available in vivid colors: Black, White, Blue and Gold.
The Galaxy S5 is IP67 dust and water resistant. It also offers a Finger Scanner, providing a secure, biometric screen locking feature and a seamless and safe mobile payment experience to consumers. The Ultra Power Saving Mode turns the display to black and white, and shuts down all unnecessary features to minimize the battery consumption.
The device will be available globally through Samsung’s retail channels, e-commerce and carriers on April.
