Xiaomi India has announced the launch of a new budget Smartphone, Redmi 9A in India. The Redmi A series is quite popular among in Indian market and is remain one of the highest-selling smartphones.
Redmi 9A features a 6.53-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification, MediaTek Helio G25 chipset, 13 MP AI rear Camera, and 5 MP selfie camera on the front.
The phone is available in two variants: 2GB + 32GB and 3GB + 32 GB. Both the phone comes with dual SIM Slot and dedicated microSD card slot allowing expansion up to 512GB.
The phone is powered by MIUI 12 based on Android 10 and comes with a 5000 mAh battery. Unfortunately, Xiaomi decided to go with Micro USB port instead of Type-C.

Redmi 9A will be available in three colour variants, Nature Green, Sea Blue, Midnight Black in 2GB + 32GB and 3GB + 32GB storage variants for INR 6799 and INR 7499 respectively across mi.com, Amazon India, Mi Homes and Mi Studios starting 4th September 2020.
